Mrs. Margie Marie Pearce, age 93 of Emory, passed away on Thursday, January 10th, 2019 in Emory. She was born on December 9th, 1925 in Paducah, Texas to the late Fred Morales Scroggins and Trudy Acker Scroggins. She was a retired clerk for Teamsters in Dallas, Texas and was a member of the Miracle Faith Baptist Church in Emory She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James E. Pearce on June 9, 1989. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Stevens of Emory, Nancy Simpson and her husband, Steve of Red Oak and Lisa Reynal and her husband, Tommy of Wills Point; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14th, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 14th, 2019 at Beaty Funeral Home at 1:00 pm, Rev. Robert Burns conducting, interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Scroggins, with Rusty Simpson, Randy Simpson, Jeremy Long, Aaron Smith, Brandon Reynal, Joseph Herrera serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cypress Basin Hospice.
