Marianne Wilson

Marianne Wilson of Como, Texas passed away on August 15, 2019 at her residence. She was born on March 14, 1957 in Beaumont, Texas to Dr. B.C. Darnell and Mary Ruth Darnell. Marianne attended Lamar University in Beaumont, worked in bookkeeping, nursing, but most importantly worked as a great caretaker for her family. She was a past member of the Como-Pickton school board and a current member of the First Presbyterian Church of Winnsboro. Marianne married Danny Wilson on March 1, 1980, and she and Danny enjoyed 39 wonderful years together. She was preceded in death by her father Dr. B.C. Darnell. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband Daniel Wilson, son Jacob Gene Wilson, mother Mary Darnell, brother Dr. Andrew Darnell and wife Judy, sister Margaret Moses and a number of other family. A celebration of life for Marianne will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday August 24th at the First Presbyterian Church Winnsboro with Dr. Jerry Carpenter officiating.
