Marie Starr Long

Marie Starr Long passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Midland, Texas.

Marie was born February 17, 1920 in Franklin County, TX to George W. and

Virgie Tibbs Starr.

Marie was an excellent mother and grandmother. She was known to her

grandchildren as Nanny. She loved her family unconditionally.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Long; sister,

Evaleen Weatherford; and brother, Ray Starr. She is survived by her

children, Tom Buck and wife, Sharon of Midland, Texas; Ricky Long and wife,

Linda of Ft. Worth, Texas; Mickey Long and wife, Renee of Midland, Texas;

Barbara Long of McAllen, Texas; Ann Long of Midland, Texas; seven

grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or

charity of your choice.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Wednesday, March 7,

2012 at 11:00 at Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County, Texas under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro,Texas.
