Marion Joe Tedder

Marion Joe Tedder, age 89, died Wednesday, August 01, 2012 in Quitman, Texas. He was born on Sunday, April 22, 1923 in Kemp, Texas to the late Floyd and Ova Mae Tedder. He was a Rancher and a Real Estate Agent for 40 years and s Kaufman County Sheriff's Deputy for 7 years. He attended Macedonia Baptist Church and served in the United States Air Force during WWII.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Frances Tedder.

He is also survived by LaVida Tedder of Mineola Texas; Maxine Tedder of Forney, Texas; Edith Tedder of Greenville, Texas; Martha Dale Jennings of Waco, Texas; Deborah and Curtis Peek; James and Cheryl Riggs; Fred Riggs; Sandra and Kelly Leask; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mr. Tedder will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM.

A graveside service will be held at Pyles Prairie Cemetery in Kemp, Texas on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Thomas Ricks officiating.
