Marjorie Ruth Cofer

Mrs. Marjorie Ruth Cofer passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the age of 67. She was born April 17, 1942 to Lavern and Genevieve Hoffman Stark. She married Mr. John Cofer on November 4, 1961 and was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Lavern Stark. She attended Midland College and worked as a secetary and most recently worked as a deputy district clerk in Midland, Texas. She was a member of the Winnsboro Civic Club, American Legion Ladies Auxillary and the St. Ann Catholic Church in Winnsboro. Survivors include her husband, John Cofer of Winnsboro; mother, Genevieve Stark of Cocoa, FL; son, Marc Cofer of Chaing Mai, Thailand; daughter, Cheryl Gilbert of Emory; sisters, Patricia Bowley of Deltona, FL, Joyce Lee of Deltona, FL, Mary Ann Bard of Rockledge, FL, and Joan Cicirelli of Cocoa, FL; brothers, Tom Stark of Ramona, CA and Jack Stark of West Linn, OR; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
