Marjorie Elizabeth Glover

Mrs. Marjorie “Margie” Elizabeth (Smith) Glover, age 94, of Katy TX, completed her earthly journey on Monday, December 26, 2022. Born on April 24, 1928, in Pineland Texas, Marjorie was the first of three children born to William and Opal (Pennington) Smith. She married the late Delwert S. Glover in 1946 spending most of their 62 years of married life in the Houston area. Marjorie worked as a highly respected employee at Coca-Cola until her retirement. She was also a loving, and devoted Christian mother of three children, grandmother, and great grandmother; always proud of their accomplishments, their biggest cheerleader, and nurturer to those in need. She was a devoted friend with a fun-loving, spunky, and determined spirit. She often had everyone laughing with her antics during games, loved dancing with the kids, and even went zip lining in her late 80’s. Margie is preceded in death by her husband Del, parents and one grandson. She is survived by her sister, brother, children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Her light in all our lives will be deeply missed. Graveside services will be held at the Old Pickton Cemetery on Friday, December 30th @ 3:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at a future date.
