**Obituary for Marshall Eldon Frye**

It is with a heavy heart yet a spirit of celebration that we announce the passing of Marshall Eldon Frye, who departed this life peacefully in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 26, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on April 18, 1941, in Muncie, Indiana, Marshall embraced life with passion, enthusiasm, and an unwavering love for family and country.

Marshall proudly served his nation in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1966. His experience as a veteran shaped his deep sense of patriotism and commitment to his community. After his service, he devoted over five decades of his professional life to the foundation drilling business as a District Manager for McKinney Drilling. His expertise and leadership earned him respect and admiration from colleagues and peers alike.

A loving father, Marshall will be profoundly missed by his children: Charles and wife Sharon, David and wife Johnna, Duane and wife Vickie, and daughter Sonja Hatley. He leaves behind a cherished legacy of seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy and pride.

Marshall was a man of diverse interests. He found solace in nature while fishing, exhilaration in the thrill of gambling, and a sense of freedom riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycles. His culinary skills were well celebrated, especially when it came to his famous BBQ, which brought family and friends together for many memorable gatherings.

His family and friends are invited to honor his life and memory during visitation at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Mineola on July 31, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. The ceremony will be a time for reflection, stories, and shared laughter as we celebrate the vibrant life of a remarkable man. Following the service, Marshall will be laid to rest at Hawkins Cemetery.

Marshall Frye's enduring spirit will remain alive in the hearts and memories of those who loved him. He taught us the importance of family, friendship, and living life to the fullest. May his legacy continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, Elam and Ruby Frye; wife Charlotte Frye, and sister, Cynthia Sullivan.
