Martha Ann Smith

Martha Ann Waddell Smith was born on August 23, 1924 in Corsicana, Texas and died on June 9, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Doing for others was her greatest passion, and she sang a little too.

She was preceded in Heaven by her parents; Wilson and Thelma Waddell, husband of 64 years, Glenn Smith; brother, Bobby Waddell and his wife Byron.

Martha Ann is survived by her son; Rick Smith of Dallas, TX; daughter, Sherri Smith of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Brittany Smith of Denver, Co and Erik Padilla and his wife Jami of Wylie, TX; great grandchildren, Shelby and Oliver of Wylie, TX. She is also survived by several members of the Smith family who she considered to be her brothers and sisters, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Beaty Funeral Home on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by Funeral service at 11:00AM officiated by Dr. Darrell Coats.
