Martha Jo Viers

Mrs. Martha Jo Viers of Italy, Texas and formerly of Mineola, Texas, passed away November 8, 2006 at the age of 85. She was born to the late Silas A. Hart and the late Lucy Bell (Clark) Hart on August 16, 1921 in Denton, Texas. She had lived in Italy, Texas since June of 2003. She had lived in Mineola prior to that and had also lived in Stamford, Texas for 25 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mineola and a life long member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gil W. Viers; and by two sisters, Jane Orrico and Peggy Jenkins. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Mary Viers of Italy, Texas; three granddaughters, Sarah Viers of Italy, Texas, Anna Viers of Italy, and Jennifer McCutchon and her husband Alan of Aquilla, Texas; one sister, Marjorie art Willis of Denton, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
