Marva Lea Mitchell

Mrs. Marva Lea (Alderson) Mitchell, age 69, of Mineola, Texas, died Friday, February 2, 2007, at Legacy Hospice in Tyler, Texas. She was born August 11, 1937 in Midland, Texas to the late Tennis Alderson and the late Inez (Brians) Alderson. She had lived in Mineola for 12 years having moved to the area from Cooper, Texas. She was a baptist and member of the First Baptist Church of Mineola where she was active in the handbell choir. She loved to quilt, sew, and paint.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, Troy L Mitchell; two sons, Dennis Keith Jackson of Amarillo, Texas and

Floyd Piercy of Mineola, Texas; two sisters, Pat Quattlebaum of Mineola, Texas and Sharon Townsend of Greenville, Texas; grandchildren, Shawn Piercy, Jeffery Piercy, and Teresa Black all of Midland along with a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
