Mary Ellen Power

Mary Power, age 89 of Longview, passed away on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 in Longview, TX. She was born on March 3,1932, in Athens, TX to the late H.P. Yates and Fannie Walker Yates. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Longview, TX. Mickey had been very active in the Iris Garden Club of Mineola, TX for many years. She loved painting and loved her home at Arabella of Longview, TX, where she made many treasured friends. Mrs. Power was very devoted to her family and loved them with all of her heart. She is survived by, son, Mike Whithrow and wife Brenda of Karnack, TX, daughter; Pam Nokes of Brownsboro, TX, sisters; Peggy Thompson of Frisco, TX, Shirley Coker of Dallas, TX, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 17th, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens 5396 S. State Hwy 37 Mineola, Texas 75773 at 10:00 am, with Pastor Bryan Harkness conducting.
