Mary Denise Ware

Denise Ware, born December 11, 1962, in Winnsboro, Texas, took her last breath surrounded by her loving family at her home on April 1, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, selflessness, and love that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Denise's life was a testament to her compassionate spirit and her unwavering dedication to helping others. Her heart overflowed with generosity, and she embodied the true essence of a servant leader. She approached each day with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of those around her, leaving a profound impact wherever she went.

One of Denise's greatest joys was found in the simple pleasure of music, particularly the timeless tunes of the 1970s. She found solace and delight in the melodies of The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and other artists of that era, allowing the music to transport her to cherished memories and moments of pure joy.

Denise's culinary talents were legendary among her family and friends. Her ability to craft delicious meals was unmatched, and she took great pleasure in sharing her creations with loved ones gathered around the table. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable flavors, a true reflection of her nurturing spirit.

Denise is reunited in the arms of her beloved father, Jerry Thompson, and her cherished son, Corey Ware, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her devoted mother, Annita Thompson, her loving husband, Mike Ware, her sons Michael Ware Jr. and wife Agatha, Christopher Ware and wife Courtney, and son Corey Ware Jr. Her five grandchildren, Ryden, Jynsen, Lyam, Kylee, and Emma, brought immeasurable joy to her life.

In addition to her immediate family, Denise leaves behind her brother, Robert Thompson, and wife Roxanne, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Although Denise's physical presence may no longer grace this earth, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May her soul find eternal peace and may her memory be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.

Celebration Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Annita's house, 239 CR 4859 Winnsboro. No formal service. Come and go. Please bring a yellow flower or a purple flower. No gifts, however, monetary memorials may be made out to Corey Ware if you choose.
