Maurine Maberry, 87 of Mineola, Texas died on July 27, 2014. She was born on September 20, 1926. She is preceded in death by her parents Martin Wheeler and Neva Edwards; daughter, Diana Adams; grandson, Stephen Burge; sister, Mary Beth Smith; brothers, Adrian Wheeler and June Wheeler.
Maurine was a former commissioner of the Mineola Housing Authority and lifetime member of VFW.
She is survived by her sons; Jimmy Alexander and wife Sally of Mineola, TX, Randy Alexander and wife Karen of Chandler, TX, Chuck Burge and wife Janie of Mineola, TX.
Visitations will be on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM officiated by Bro. Fred Morrow. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
