Max Sterling Mckinnon

Mr. Max S. McKinnon, age 21 of Sulphur Springs, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. He was born on March 12, 1990 in Dallas. He was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School Class of '08, and was currently attending Texas A & M Commerce. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Pickton. Max had chosen to be an organ donor, and upon his passing that desire was carried out. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Phillips. He is survived by his mother, Amy Phillips of Sulphur Springs; grandmother, Billie Phillips of Pickton; sister, Jamie McKinnon of San Marcos; aunt, Anna Pettit; uncle, Patrick Coveney; and three cousins. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 5 -7 pm at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro; funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 2 pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Pickton, with Bro. Patrick Gernenz conducting; graveside services will follow at Caney Cemetery, Pickton.
