Max K. Simons

Mr. Max Simons, age 83 of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 in Winnsboro. He was born on May 10th, 1933 in Mt Vernon to the late Joseph Simons and Argaree Simons. He was a retired Dairy Farmer, and was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Merle Simons and Stant Simons; sisters, Betty Brawley and Eula Hill. He is survived by, son Max K. Simons, Jr. and wife Amanda of Mt. Vernon; daughters, Sharon Allmon and husband Chuck of Lorenzo, Debbie Thompson and husband Bill of Winnsboro; brother, Nix Simons and wife Sarah of Winnsboro; step-daughters, Tracy Abbott and Lisa Rigney; seven grandchildren, Michael, Mandy, Matthew, Brandon, Randall, Carrie, and Max K. "Trey" III; and by eleven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10th, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 11th, 2016 at Providence Cemetery at 11:00 am, with Dr. Randall Carr conducting. Interment will be at Providence Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, with Max Simons, Jr., Bill Thompson, Chuck Allmon, Michael Rogers, Matthew Rogers, Tully Martin serving as pallbearers.
