Michael "Mickey" Jones, age 75, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Tuesday, December 10, 1935 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to the late Roy and Loretta Jones. He was retired from American Recreational Products and a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Gideons, the Christian Motorcycle Association, League of the Arts and Bill Glass Prison Ministry.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Joann Jones of Mineola, Texas; a son, Ron Jones and wife Peggy of Shallowater, Texas; a daughter, Christi Jones of Mineola; three grand children, Jessica Jones, Christopher Jones, and Tina Jones; and five great-grandchildren, Alyk, Seth, Danielle, Heath, Jeremy.
