Michael Prestidge

Mr. Michael Garland Prestidge, age 67 of Winona, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Tyler. He was born on June 1, 1953 in Grand Saline to the late Nolan Prestidge and Lois Stanley Prestidge. Mkel was a retired Construction-Superintendent and former member of the Wood County Riding Club. He loved riding horses, trailrides, and Louie Lamour novels, and watching westerns on TV. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Viva Paris. He is survived by his daughters, Micah Kendrick and her husband, Mark and Polly David and her husband, Stan; brothers, James Prestidge, Jerry Prestidge and his wife Janette and Chuck Paris and his wife, Janis; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and his dog and companion, Chopper. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Memorial Services will follow at at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
