Michael Everett Tier

It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of Michael Everett Tier, who left this world on April 29, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on April 11, 1962, in Denton, Texas, Michael lived a life filled with passion, hard work, and the love of family.

Residents of Winnsboro, Texas, will remember Michael as a dedicated loader operator who brought his strong work ethic to every job. But beyond the worksite, he was known for his adventurous spirit. Whether it was riding and wrenching on motorcycles or jamming to his favorite music tunes, Michael embraced life to the fullest.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Tier; his children, Shawna, Shane, and Shannon; his sister, Ladeana Schmidt(Tim); and his brother, Mark Tier(Teresa). Michael's legacy will also live on in the hearts of his beloved grandchildren: Hannah McFaddon(Kaden), Breanna Ritter, Kaily Ritter, Hunter Walker, Destiny Harrison, Cloe Harrison, Olivia Harrison, Kaylee Harrison, Raven Tier, Tristan Tier, and Zoey, along with his seven great-grandchildren, who brought him boundless joy.

A celebration of Michael's life will take place soon, where family and friends will gather to honor the remarkable man he was.

As we remember Michael, let us celebrate the love he shared, the adventures he lived, and the cherished moments made. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Tier and Marjorie Tier.
