Miguel Delgadillo passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at his home under the care of hospice. He was 60 years old.
Miguel was born October 2,1961, in Zacatecas, Mexico to Camilo and Maria del Carmen Delgadillo. He had four brothers and two sisters. Miguel met Cristina in Mexico, married in 1987 and a few years later had their first child, Ana. The couple immigrated to California in search of a better future for their family and had their second child, Adan. After living in California for 5 years, the family moved to East, Texas in the 1990's, where Miguel dedicated most of his life to carpentry and construction. The couple had their last child, Judith. Miguel and his family became members of St. Peter’s Catholic church in Mineola where he was once a member of the Knights of Columbus. Miguel enjoyed watching his children grow up playing softball and baseball. He loved Major League Baseball and was a fan of the Texas Rangers. He also enjoyed helping his children raise animals for the school’s FFA. On the weekends, Miguel enjoyed working on new projects to construct metal buildings. Miguel had a great sense of humor, passionate about music and loved to dance. Survivors include his wife, Maria Cristina Delgadillo; daughters, Ana Karen and Judith; son, Adan and one grandchild, Alexandra; his mother Maria del Carmen; along with four brothers, Pascual, Camilo, Leobardo and Emmanuel. Two sisters, Lourdes and Margarita. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church 203 Meadowbrook Drive Mineola, TX 75773 at 11:00 a.m.
