Mrs. Mildred Peacock Peppeard of Mineola, Texas passed away January 6, 2007 at the age of 90. She was born April 24, 1916 in Hawkins, Texas to the late Cleveland Peacock and to the late Ella Black Peacock. She lived in Mineola for most of her life and in Tucson, Arizona the last two years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mineola. During her life she traveled in Europe and Asia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Merrill E. Peppeard; son, Allan Peppeard; and two brothers, Virgil Peacock and Roy Peacock. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Gina Peppeard of Longview, Texas; daughter, Mary Margaret Peppeard of Tucson, Arizona; daughter-in-law, Lynn Peppeard; brother, Dan Peacock of Mineola, Texas; two sisters, Margaret Steele of Mineola, Texas and Mary Simms of Tyler, Texas; three grandchildren, Douglas Peppeard, Traci Patton, and Gayle Peppeard; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
