Mitchell Allen Holt, 26, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on January 25, 2025. Born on April 1, 1998, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Mitchell brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his life.
Mitchell grew up in Winnsboro, Texas, and graduated from Winnsboro High School. He pursued a career as a well technician with A1 Water Wells, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. A member of Cartwright Baptist Church, Mitchell’s faith and community were important parts of his life.
Mitchell had a passion for working on his truck, riding side by sides, and spending time floating in the lake. He cherished moments with his friends and family, always bringing smiles and laughter to their lives. Whether it was through a joke or a shared adventure, Mitchell had a unique way of making memories with those he loved.
On September 18, 2021, Mitchell married the love of his life, MaKayla Harrell Holt. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments.
Mitchell is survived by his loving wife, MaKayla Holt; his mother, Lisa Holt; his father, Christopher Allen Holt and wife, Gretchen; his grandparents, Larry and Vickey Mitchell, and Joe and Robbie Holt; his great-grandfather, Kennith Wetzel; his sister, Brittney Holt; his brothers, Trenton Holt and Larry Holt; his nephews, Colt, Chet, and Chance; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mitchell’s legacy of love and humor will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Mitchell’s family and friends will forever remember his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the joy he brought into their lives. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
