Mollie Mccarty

Mollie McCarty, age 91, died Friday, February 3, 2012 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on Friday, February 20, 1920 in Warika, Oklahoma to the late James and Kennie Stewart.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon McCarty; three brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth R. Taylor and wife Peggy of Nacogdoches; three grandchildren, Rob Brooks and wife Wendy of China, Texas, Johanna Aker and husband Joe of College Station, Texas, and Lauren Aslaksen and husband Don of League City, Texas; five grandchildren, Ashley Aslaksen, Evan Aslaksen, Weston Brooks, Waylon Brooks and Drew Aker.

A visitation for Ms. McCarty will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Dr. Mark Neeley officiating.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice of East Texas.
