Mollie Elisabeth Owings, age 97, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in Alba, Texas. She was born on Thursday, January 13, 1916 in Toledo, Illinois to the late Walter and Elisabeth Templeton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Howard Owings; a son, Robert Bruce Owings; a brother, Walter Templeton; and two sisters, Chaire Womack and Beulah Devine.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce McDaniel and husband Donald of Golden, Texas and Charlene Ann Cummings and husband Harold of Lenoir, Tennessee; seven grand children and eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Ms. Owings will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Pilgrim’s Rest #2 in Alba.
