Molly Irene Forrester, a cherished member of the Mineola community, passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on May 1, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Leonard D. and Jessie Kelley, Molly's journey was marked by love, dedication, and unwavering faith. Throughout her life, she exemplified the virtues of kindness, compassion, and resilience.
Professionally, Molly dedicated many years of service to Walmart, contributing her talents to the Lindale and Mineola locations before retiring. Her commitment to excellence and her warm demeanor left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of working with her.
Molly found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending cherished moments bowling with friends. Yet, her greatest source of happiness was her family. She adored her children and treasured her role as a grandmother to seven beloved grandchildren. Her love for them knew no bounds, and her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire future generations.
Molly is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Jessie Kelley, as well as her siblings: Joe Kelley, Johnny Dale Kelley, Patricia Bates, Sandra Bogle, and Florence Jean Kelley. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished by her surviving family members, including her daughter Amy Polk and husband Patrick, son Joshua Forrester and wife Dody, son Kelly Forrester III and wife Jessica, grandchildren Alyah, Alysa, Alyjah, Emma, Audrey, Sophie, and William, brother Sam Kelley, sister Mary Bogle, father of her children Kelly Forrester Jr., and numerous other relatives and friends.
Molly Forrester's life was a testament to the power of faith, love, and family. As she peacefully rests in the arms of her Creator, may her memory continue to bring comfort and inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
