Mona Elaine Hawley Shirley

Mona Elaine (Hawley) Shirley, age 69, of Leesburg, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her home. Elaine was born in Dallas on February 22, 1947 to the late Hiram and Ramona Arnold Hawley. She retired from Presbyterian Hospital in Winnsboro, and was a Baptist. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy Shirley, and a brother, William Hawley. She is survived by a son, James Shirley and wife Paula of Leesburg; daughters, Regina Wilson of Leesburg, Judy Killingsworth and husband Bruno of Winnsboro; brothers, Gerald Hawley of Dallas, Eddie Hawley of Winnsboro, Gary Hawley of Dallas;sister, Diane Dlabaj of Winnsboro; nine grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home of Winnsboro on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM at Pineview Cemetery; Bro. Perry Shirley officiating.
