Monica Jo Bigham, a beloved resident of Flint, Texas, passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 49. Monica was born on December 31, 1974, in Tyler, Texas, to Bobby and Debbie Bigham. She grew up in Tyler and attended John Tyler High School.


Monica dedicated several years of her life to working with special needs children, a role she cherished deeply. She was known for her compassionate heart and unwavering dedication to helping others. Monica was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wright City, where her faith was a cornerstone of her life.


In her leisure time, Monica found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved the lake near her home, and often spent time hiking, camping, and enjoying the outdoors with her many friends. Her lively spirit and sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew her. Monica had a knack for making others laugh and was always ready with a joke or a funny story.


Monica is survived by her father, Bobby Bigham; her sisters, Kate Trull and Dona Walker; her niece, Alexis Trull, and nephew Ty Trull, niece Jaicee Walker; as well as her great nephews, Stetson Trull and Eli Bench, and great niece, Raelyn Jackson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie Bigham, and her son, Dalton Bigham, whom she missed dearly and spoke of daily.


The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 17th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola. A funeral to honor Monica's life will take place in the chapel of Beaty Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18th beginning at 2:00 p.m. with her brother-in-law Rev. Stephen Trull officiating.


Monica will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, her generous spirit, and her deep faith. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.


Monica, you will be deeply missed, but your laughter and love will echo in our hearts forever. May you rest in peace, reunited with your beloved son Dalton.
