Mr. Morris Lansford Turner, age 87 of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. He was born on Friday, March 17, 1922 in Quitman, TX to the late Claude Bradley and Ruby Jackson Turner. Mr. Turner served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he later married Helen Doris Kirby on February 10, 1944. He was a retired Winnsboro businessman, and a member of Pine Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Turner; two brothers and a sister.
He is survived by, daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and James Rogers of Winnsboro, Linda and Johnny Walker of Winnsboro ; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Turner; two brothers and a sister.
