Nancy Jane Havens

Mrs. Nancy Jane McLeroy Havens, age 94 of Winnsboro, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009. She was born in Lone Oak, Texas on March 26, 1914 to the late Thomas M. and Dora L. Newland McLeroy. She married the late, Charles C. Havens, Sr. on June 1, 1929. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; son Thomas Wayne Havens; three brothers; two sisters; and one grandchild, Renee' Cofer. She is survived by one son, Charles C. Havens, Jr. of Panama; three daughters, Lillian McCollum and husband John of Cookeville, Ruth Wallis and husband Jesse of Winnsboro, Mary Cofer and husband Junior of Winnsboro; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and twenty four great-great-grandchildren.
