Naomi Ruth Sparkman

Naomi Ruth Sparkman was born Monday, September 30, 1935 in Mineola, Texas to Maudie Lillie and Homer Sparkman.

She was a resident of Community Care Center in Mineola and passed away at Medical Center Hospital in Tyler, Texas on September 25, 2012.

As a girl, Naomi had attended Mineola Schools and both Central and First Baptist Churches in Mineola.

She had lived in Ennis, Dallas, Chicago, Denver and Poscatillo, Idaho before returning to the Mineola Area in 2005.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; and a set of twins.

She is survived by her children, twins, Timmy Baxter and Tammy Ford of Longview; six grandchildren; a brother James Sparkman and wife Dorothy of Mineola; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at New Hope Cemetery on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Parker officiating.
