Nelda June Null, a cherished lifelong resident of Mineola, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on May 25, 1935, in Mineola, Nelda devoted her life to her community, her family, and her faith.


A proud graduate of Mineola High School, Nelda was a beloved member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. Her life was marked by her passion for crocheting, a craft she used to create warmth and joy for those around her. She was known for her infectious laughter and the generous hugs she shared with her family, whom she loved deeply.


Nelda was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Pansy (Hammond) Gresham; her husband, James Null, Jr.; her son, Gary Null; her sisters, Helen Skinner and Geraldean Erwin; and her brother, Rubin Gresham.


She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Waggoner, and son-in-law, Guy; her cherished grandchildren, Miranda Crawford and Lacy Lingle and husband Michael; and her adoring great-grandchildren, Hannah Tucker, Madeline Tucker, and Asher Lingle.


Nelda's legacy of love, laughter, and community spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the warmth and kindness she brought into the lives of her family and friends.


May she rest in peace, wrapped in the love and comfort she so generously shared with others.
