Nelo Dee Tedford

Mr. Nelo Dee Tedford, age 77 of Sulphur Springs, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. He was born on Monday, January 07, 1935 in Franklin County, TX to the late Roger D. Tedford and Effie Lee BradleyTedford. He married the former, Eldora Hearn on December 24, 1955 in Como, Texas. He attended elementary school at Clearwater, was a Winnsboro gradute in 1952, attended Tyler Commercial, coached pee wee football, and played baseball on the company team. He was a retired bookkeeper, a country store owner, and was a member of Clearwater Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bernard Tedford, Robert "Bob" Tedford; and a sister, Glennis Lilly; step-mother, Laura Shelby. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Eldora Tedford of Sulphur Springs; sons, Tommy Tedford and wife Janet of Greenville, Jeff Tedford of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Angie Johnston and husband Stevan of Alba; seven grandchildren, Allan Tedford and wife Jaime, Brandi Murray and husband JD, Brandon Caviness and wife Julie, Hayden Caviness and wife Krystian, Chad Tedford and wife Monica, Zachary Johnston, Brittany Johnston; eight great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Chayne, Hayzlye, Gage, Maddison, Mckynlee, Jayla, and Carson; and step-brother, Bob Shelby.

Arrangements are being handled by BEATY FUNERAL HOME , Winnsboro, TX where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 16, 2012. Funeral services will be at Beaty Funeral Home at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 17, 2012, Interment will be at New Pickton Cemetery, Pickton, TX
