Norman Gaston Davis

MINEOLA - Graveside services for Norman Gaston Davis Jr., 81, Garland, formerly of Mineola, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mineola, with Pastor Mark Lilly officiating.

Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum under direction of Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola.

Mr. Davis died Nov. 4, 2008, in Garland.

He was born Oct. 8, 1927, in Dallas to the late Norman Gaston Sr. and Florence Davis. He served in the Navy, retired as a manager from Southwestern Bell Telephone, and was a member of Mineola Masonic Lodge No. 502. He lived in Mineola for 20 years prior to moving to Mesquite in 2006, and then to Garland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Davis.

Survivors include son, Steve Davis, Sunnyvale; daughter, Deb Davis, Dallas; and two grandchildren.
