Opal Corn

Opal Corn, age 93 of Winnsboro, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008. She was born in Franklin County on July 30, 1914 to the late Ralph and Cora Lee Wood Sanders. She was a homemaker and member of East Point Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy E. Corn in 1972; two sons, Bobby Ray and Billy Gene Corn; one brother, Dewey Sanders; one grandson, Bobby Wayne Corn, and one granddaughter, Margaret Smith. She is survived by a granddaughter, Vicki Landers and husband David of Mt. Pleasant; one great-grandchild, Amy Van Rijn and husband Frank of Saltillo; one great-great-grandchild, Kayden VanRijn.
