Opal Lillian Folmar

Mrs. Opal Lillian Folmar, age 84 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 in Winnsboro. She was born in Rochester, Texas on May 13, 1924 to the late J.E. and Bettie Murphy Tibbs. She was a homemaker and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church, where she was in the WMA's and active in all church activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Van Folmar on January 30, 1986;five sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by two sons, Doug Folmar of Winnsboro, Marcus Folmar and wife Jenny of Winnsboro; two daughters, Alice Chapman and husband Carl of Arlington, Cathy Chance of Winnsboro; two sisters, Maggie Driggars of Seagoville, Betty Ramos of Ft. Worth; five granchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
