Orville Young

Orville is survived by the love of his life, Margie Lee McClenny Young of 57 years, two loving sons Diron Randal Young and Scott Michael Young, sisters Joyce Land, Floy Miller, Peggy Richards, brother Dwain Young and nieces and nephews


Orville was born in Durant, OK October 23, 1941 to the Della and Marvin Young.  He attended school in Albany, OK and graduated from Yuba High School in Oklahoma 1959.  He was drafted to the Army as a switchboard operator in 1965 stationed in Frankfurt Germany for 2 years.


Orville was a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas active in the Mens Sunday School Class.  He was retired Insurance Agent and was in the business for 38 years.  He was a Mason for 60 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys football games and the Texas Rangers baseball games.


In lieu of flowers, the family request, memorial donations are made to Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church in Orville Young's name.


Graveside Service at Cedars Memorial Gardens, 1830 South Pacific (Hwy 69 South), Mineola, TX 75773 on November 3, 2023 at 11:30 am with a Masonic Ceremony.
