Ovee Richard Parsons

Ovee Richard Parsons, age 75, died Monday, March 26, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Monday, August 31, 1936 in Ft. Worth, Texas to the late Hanna and Ovee Parsons. He was a Manufacturer Specialist for Snapper and a member of Holly Brook Baptist Church. He was a Deacon and taught Sunday School for 50 years. He served in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anita Parsons of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas; two sons, Steve Parsons and wife Pam of Mont Belvieu, Texas and Rooster Parsons and wife Sharla of Holly Lake Ranch; a brother, Thomas David Parsons and wife Alene of Ft. Worth, Texas; three nephews; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Visitation for Mr. Parsons will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 5 - 8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at Holly Brook Baptist Church in Hawkins, Texas on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Guy McGraw and Bro. Larry Taylor officiating.
