Paralee Mirinda Price

Ms. Paralee Price, age 101 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, June 13th, 2016 at Autumn Wind Assisted living in Winnsboro. She was born on November 17th, 1914 in Perryville to the late James Majors Price and Victoria Mohasky Smith Price. Paralee graduated from the East Texas Teachers College in 1933, she was a Major in the Army-Air Corps during World War II, she attained her master’s degree in the early 60’s. She retired from teaching after 30 years, she was a member of the Corpus Christi Women’s Business Association, where she received numerous awards. She was a member of a Baptist church in Corpus Christi, and a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 18th, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro, Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Connan Welch officiating, private interment will be at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, with grand-nieces and nephews as honorary pallbearers.
