Patressa Ruth Mccluskey

Ms. Patressa McCluskey, age 57, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away peacefully, while surrounded by family, Sunday, June 2, 2019. She was born Monday, July 17, 1961 to Kenneth and Patsy Orr in Bainbridge, Maryland.

After graduating high school and attending college, Patressa eventually joined the Navy, where she served proudly, for 9 years. Throughout her service she enjoyed her many travels abroad, which ultimately led her and her family back to East Texas. Pat was well known for her strength and courage, but her caring heart, by far, outshines her many great qualities. Family, baking, and gardening were a few of her delights and passion. Between the pies she baked, the flowers she cultivated, and the three children she poured her heart and soul into, she was able to bring sweetness, beauty, and strength into the world. With all the sacrifices she has made and advice she has given, she will be deeply missed and happily remembered.

Pat was preceded in death by her father Kenneth W. Orr, Sr. She is survived by her oldest son and daughter in law, Christopher and Jackie; her younger son, Joshua; and her only daughter, Sarah, as well as her mother Patsy Orr, and her siblings Charles Orr, Kenneth & Rachel Orr, Deborah Woodruff, and Regina & William Nabors.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Beaty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Beaty Funeral Home, 816 W Broadway St., Winnsboro, TX, 74594. There will be a private graveside service for immediate family members at the Maple Springs Cemetery.
