Patricia Ann Burden, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and a cherished friend, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on May 5, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, Patricia lived a life filled with compassion, dedication, and love, which she shared with all those fortunate enough to know her.

Patricia was raised in a nurturing environment that instilled in her the values of kindness and service. After earning her Nursing Degree , she embarked on a fulfilling career in healthcare as a nurse, where she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to the well-being of her patients.

In 1959, Patricia married her beloved husband, Tommy Dean Burden, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love until his passing. Together, they fostered a family enriched with love and resilience. Patricia is survived by her son Buster Burden and his wife, Ella; daughter Jennifer Rogers, sister Yolanda Eylea, three adoring grandchildren, Gail Burden, Emilee Lundmark, and Brandon McCain, and two beloved great-grandchildren, Colt Lundmark and Cade Lundmark. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy, son Raymond Kyle, and grandchild Lauren Hooper.

A devout member of Sand Springs Baptist Church, Patricia devoted her time volunteering with the Caring Hearts group, where her warmth and generosity were felt by many. She also dedicated herself to the Court-Appointed Special Advocates (C.A.S.A.) program, passionately advocating for the well-being and happiness of children in need. Known for her green thumb, Patricia found immense joy in gardening, cultivating flowers and plants that were a testament to her nurturing spirit.

In remembrance of Patricia, family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Sand Springs Baptist Church in Mineola, on May 29, 2026, at 11 AM. Visitation will be before the memorial service starting at 10 AM.

As we gather to celebrate her life, let us honor Patricia Ann Burden's enduring legacy of kindness, family ties, and her unwavering commitment to supporting others. She will be deeply missed, but her love will continue to blossom in the hearts of all she touched.
