Patsy Ruth Orr

Patsy Ruth Orr, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on November 3, 1935, in Winnsboro, Texas, she lived a life enriched by love, laughter, and cherished connections.

Married on March 6, 1956, to her devoted husband Kenneth Orr, she embraced the joys of family and community with open arms. Together, they fostered a home filled with warmth and kindness, raising five children: Charles, Kenneth, II, Deborah, Patressa and Regenia. Patsy found immense joy in the company of her grandchildren, creating lasting memories with Melissa, Kelly, Stephen, Jessica, Kenneth, Juanita, Christina,Christopher, Joshua, Sarah, Michael, Stephanie, and Jimmy. As a proud great-grandmother, she relished every moment with Nathaniel, Aiden, Bella, Jackson, Colbie, Natalee, Lynleigh, Jordan, Ava, Delilah, Kolter, Emilia, and Raylen, leaving a legacy of love that will endure through generations.

Patsy's passion for life was evident . Her happiest momments was being a devoted wife to her husband, and being part of the Navy family, raising her 5 children. Teaching them the importance of honesty, compassion, and the true value of family. She enjoyed traveling, playing games, She enjoyed music, she was artistic (she wrote poems, painted, crocheted),having her family close by, and embracing the beauty of the outdoors.

A visitation will be held on February 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Texas. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Patsy's life at a funeral service on February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM, also at Beaty Funeral Home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at 2:30 PM in Leesburg, Texas, in a place of peace and serenity.

Patsy Ruth Orr will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her spirit continues to shine through the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us all to cherish the love we share and the moments we create. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of choice.

Patsy was preceded in death by: her parents, siblings ,her husband Kenneth Orr, and her two daughters Deborah Woodruff, Patressa McCluskey and her granddaughter Lynn Orr.
