It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patti Lea Singleton, of Paris, Texas, who departed from this world on April 8, 2024, to join her Lord and Savior. Patti's earthly journey began on June 18, 1972, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, as the cherished daughter of Danny Attaway and Patsy Kennimer Attaway. She graduated from Yantis High School in 1990 and went on to touch the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Patti's devotion to the Lord was evident to all who knew her. She found solace and joy in attending worship services and praising God, finding strength and inspiration in her faith. Beyond her spiritual devotion, Patti's greatest source of happiness was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will endure through the ages.
An avid collector, Patti had a particular fondness for elephants and butterflies. Her home was adorned with a vast array of stuffed animals, pictures, and figurines, each one a testament to her passion and unique personality. Through her collection, she shared her love for these majestic creatures with all who entered her home, leaving an indelible mark on those around her.
Patti was preceded in death by her nephews, Michael Davis and Nicodemus Barsness, but her memory lives on through those she held dear. She is survived by her father, Danny Attaway; her mother, Patsy Barsness, and her husband, David; her sons, Canyon Davis and Kaden Bozeman; her brother, Dusty Barsness and wife Megen; her sister, Rikki Davis, and her husband, Mike; her nieces, Tarryn Bellassai and Renly Barsness; her nephew, Ryker Barsness; and her great-niece, Kinsly Bellassai. Their lives are forever enriched by the love and light Patti brought into their hearts.
Though she may be absent from our sight, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on the world around her. May she rest in eternal peace, cradled in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father.
