Paul Edward Furrh

Paul Edward Furrh, Sr. died Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Thursday, August 25, 1932 in Wills Point, Texas to the late Edward and Nella Furrh.

He was a retired conductor for Union Pacific Railroad having spent 45 years there. He was a member of United Transportation Union and was the local chairman for Trainman.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys, mother of Paul Furrh, Jr. of Lake Jackson, Texas, Cindi Yocom of Mineola, Texas, and Dianna Wilkerson of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; and his second wife, Helen, mother of Mike McGee, Debbie Lillard, and Lori Hurst; and a brother, Donald Gene Furrh.

He is survived by three brothers, William "Buddy" Furrh of Edgewood, Texas, James David Furrh of Quinlan, Texas; a sister Wynelle Willoughby of Wills Point, Texas; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Furrh will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point, Texas at 10:00 AM.
