Mr. Nutter died Nov. 30, 2008, in Quitman.

He was born July 30, 1940, in Augusta, Kan. to the late James and Belma Bucket Nutter. He had lived in Mineola for 15 years, was a retired engineer specialist in the aircraft manufacturing business and served in the Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Nutter; son, David Goodman; daughter, Danelle Goodman; all of Mineola; brother, Delbert Nutter, Colo.; sister, Valdonna Rush, Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
