Paul W. Sides

Mr. Paul W. Sides, age 85 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010. Paul was born on April 6, 1924 in De Leon, Texas to the late James Finis and Esther Ruth Powell Sides. He was a retired plant engineer for Amoco Production, a veteran of the Army Air Corps having served during World War II, and a member of Pine Street Baptist Church, and formerly a member of First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs for 36 years. He married Wanda J. Kay on December 12, 1946. Survivng Paul is his loving wife Wanda Sides of Winnsboro; sons, Don Sides and wife Kathy of Sulphur Springs, J. Paul Sides and wife Ann of Greenville; daughter, Karen Hettich and husband Wilburn of Winnsboro; six grandchildren, Kristi Wondra, Kelli Alexander, Jody Hettich, Buster Alan Sides, J. Scott Hettich, Lauren Sides; and twelve great-grandchildren.
