Paul Stewart

Mr. Paul Stewart, age 80 of Winnsboro, passed away, Saturday, May 24, 2008. He was born in Cass County on September 27, 1927 to the late, Robert and Lena Mae Williams Stewart. He was a Army Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne during World War II. He was a retired painting contractor, a mason at Gus Garrison Masonic Lodge of Winnsboro, and a member of the Eastern Stars. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother,Robert Stewart, one sister, Helen Staggs. He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Ragsdill Stewart of Winnsboro; sons, David Paul Stewart, Jr. and wife Jimmie of Justin, Stephen James Stewart and wife Joy of Irving; daughter, Paula Ann Hooks and husband Keith of Kilgore; one sister, Doris Bilbrey of Irving; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
