Paul Wayne Vaughn

Paul Wayne Vaughn, 60, of Campbell, Texas passed away unexpectantly on April 23, 2021 in Commerce, Texas. Mr. Vaughn was born on November 16, 1960 in Winnsboro, Texas to the late Paul M.C. “Bill” Vaughn and Juanita Darlene (Ward) Vaughn-Bell. Paul was also preceded in death by sister Margie Miller. He was raised in Winnsboro as well as Sulphur Springs and Dallas. Paul owned his own glass service in Campbell. He was very passionate about politics but more passionate about his family and especially his grandchildren. Paul was a true Texan. He loved to fish, hunt and camp. He’d rather spend his time in the outdoors than be cooped up inside the house. Paul is survived by his wife of 22 years Trisha Tushim; son, Matthew Vaughn and wife Ashley; daughter, Sara Shotwell and husband James; sisters, Julia Ann Morrow, Jeanie Vaughn, Carolyn Sue Drinning and Barbara Lynn Grady; brothers, Daniel Vaughn, James Dale Vaughn and twin brother Billy Dewayne Vaughn; grandchildren, Benjamin, Lillian, Lucy-Ann, Abby-Lynn and Rory. An open visitation will be held on Sunday, May 2nd at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. The family will be here from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. during that time to meet and visit with friends and family.
