Pauline C. Williams

Pauline Carol Williams passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the age of 84. She was born in Grandfield, OK, to the late Emmett Thornton and Agnes Latham Thornton. She grew up in Marlow, OK with her parents and six siblings. She married Louis Williams at the age of 21. They married and moved to Buffalo, TX in 1949. She and Louis were turkey and chicken growers for 30 years. Mr. Williams preceded her in death in 1986, and she moved to Jacksonville, TX, where she later married Homer James. They travled all over and spent time with family until he preceded her in 1992. Mrs. Williams volunteered at the Senior Citizens Center and spent time with her kids and grandchildren. She loved to garage sale and spend time with family and friends. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; Louis Anderson Williams and Homer James; brothers, Earl Thornton and Gene Thornton and sisters, Wilma Thornton and Faye Pierce. Survivors include her daughter, Virginia and Joe Haney of Winnsboro; sons, Ricky Williams of Jacksonville and Carrey and Denise Williams of Buffalo; brother, Kenneth Thornton of Duncan, OK; twenty grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
