Pearl Bellomy

Lee Pearl Rhodes Bellomy, aged 97, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Mustang Creek Estates Assisted Living, Burleson, Texas. Born in Hopkins County, Texas on April 25, 1922 to Ola Mae Gatlin and Elijah McClellan (Clell) Rhodes. Pearl married Hulon H. (Buck) Bellomy on January 15,1942 in Pickton, Texas., After World War II Pearl and Hulon lived in Fort Worth until retirement, at which time they moved to Quitman, Texas. Pearl is preceded in death by her husband, Hulon. She is survived by her son, Don Bellomy and wife Brenda; daughter Diann Green and husband Phillip Green; as well as her grandchildren David Bellomy, Gary Bellomy, Kevin Green, Jason Green, Aria Green, and her sister Linda Weems and husband Monnie Weems. Pearl is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren and a devoted extended family of nieces and nephews. Pearl’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service at Beaty Funeral Home at 5396 S State Highway 37, Mineola, TX 75773 at 10:00am on Monday, October 21, 2019..
