Phyllis Ann E. Lemon

Mrs. Phyllis Ann (Emory) Lemon, age 80 of Winnsboro, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015. Phyllis was born in Okemah, OK., on December 14, 1934 to the late Addison Donald and Lucile Mae (Barrow) Emory. She was retired from the education field, a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ's Latter Day Saints in Quitman. She was a a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 52 years, Mr. George Simms Lemon, Jr.; son, George Simms Lemon, III; and brother, Don Emory. She is survived by six daughters, Laura Spendlove of North Ogden, UT, Leigh McDonald of Anchorage, AK., Susan Simons of Winnsboro, Sabette Doan of Bossier City, LA., Leta Martin of Houghton, LA., Staci Taylor of Winnsboro; twenty six grandchildren, and thirty-five great-grandchildren.
