Raleigh Richard Rhodes
December 6, 1925 — April 18, 2012
Raleigh Richard Rhodes, Sr., age 86, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Yantis, Texas. He was born on Sunday, December 6, 1925 in Coleman County, Texas to the late Raleigh and Willie Viola Rhodes. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from the City of Arlington where he was the Personnel Director. He was a member of the I.A.A.O and T.A.A.O.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Rhodes of Yantis; two sons, Raleigh Richard Rhodes, Jr. of Quitman, Texas and Lester Cary Rhodes of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Sherry Douglas of Heath, Texas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas.
